Our story
Rio Yacht Charter was born from the wish to make the sea a welcoming and accessible place, with attentive service and a genuine interest in bringing each guest’s wishes on board.
After three years living on sailboats and following nautical tourism up close, our founder created a company that offers time at sea both to those who already know life on board and to those boarding for the first time.
We started in the waters of Angra dos Reis and soon reached Rio de Janeiro. Within a year we were also sailing Paraty and the Lakes Region, from Cabo Frio and Arraial do Cabo to Búzios. Today, with more than ten years in business, we keep the same principles: excellence, safety and a human touch for every guest.
Rio de Janeiro is our stage, and the ocean is our story.
We don’t rent out yachts: we celebrate moments. We design silence, privacy and time that time itself cannot erase. It is the toast at the exact moment of sunset. It is knowing your name and your favourite song before you even step on board.
